

Born in Fairhaven, Pat lived in the south coast area most of her life and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She was the daughter of the late Alphonda and Eileen (Barry) LeBlanc.
Pat was a graduate of Fairhaven High School Class of 1962. She worked as a supervisor for Com Electric for 30 years until her retirement. She was a volunteer at Hathaway Manor and for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and cherished the time she spent with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her stepchildren Christine LeBlanc of West Wareham; Carol Baptista and her husband Michael of New Bedford; Cathy Farley and her husband Thomas of New Bedford; Richard LeBlanc and his wife Kathleen of New Bedford; Karen Monteiro and her husband Jason of New Bedford; her sisters, Mabel Mont of Fairhaven; Claire LeBlanc of New Bedford; Barbara Bach and her husband Robert of Fairhaven; her brothers, William LeBlanc and his wife Sandra of Fairhaven; James Barry LeBlanc and his wife Mary of Westport. Affectionately known as “Gramma” to her grandchildren Ryan Loria of CA, Timothy and Tayla Farley of New Bedford; Chelsea and Carly LeBlanc of New Bedford; Jason, Christian, Cameron and Courtney Monteiro all of New Bedford ; a great grandchild, Trevor Loria of CA, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eileen McCarthy.
Pat will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 9:30am at St Mary’s Church, 343 Tarklin Hill Road, New Bedford. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
