She was born on November 18, 1951, in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Hamson) Hutchins.
Dorothy loved being outdoors, attending horse races, and cherished spending time with her family and two dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Slover and Karen Price; and brother, Ron Hamson.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Danny Purcell of Melvern, KS; daughter, Andrea (Jeremy) Staub of New Berlin, IL; grandchildren, Taylor, Hailey, Landon, and Gianna; and siblings, Patty Matthews, Edna Goodman, and Tina Hutchins.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunny Acres for their wonderful care of our mother.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
