Alvin Keith Foreman

Alvin was born on May 12, 1957 in Indiana to the late W. J. and Thelma Rice Foreman. Alvin graduated from West Craven High School in 1976, and shortly after he started working for W. J. Foreman and Sons. At one time, he ran a logging company with his second wife, Patti.

Alvin was a workaholic who often processed problems through work. He was creative, stubborn, and had a great sense of humor, and he would bend over backwards to help those he cared about. He liked to have fun and enjoyed being active, working with his hands, and spending time fishing and gardening.

Alvin is survived by daughters, Jennifer Byrd (TJ) and Erica White (Jason), grandchildren Samantha and Emma Byrd, Zeke and Zoe White, stepdaughter Tina Kemp (Greg), step grandchildren Cameron Kemp, Anna and Lilly Owens, sister Dawn Edwards (Gerald), brother Michael Foreman (Sandy) and his first wife Betty Whitford. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his second wife Patti Smith Foreman, his third wife Kimberly Reese Foreman, stepson Kris Kemp, step grandchild Caleb Rutherford, sister Rebecca Foreman.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Pruitt Health-Neuse for their compassion and care for Alvin and the Spring Garden Community for their outpouring of support to the family.

A Graveside Service at Spring Garden Baptist Church Cemetery will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 am.
