Arthur Brian Zelinski

Arthur Brian Zelinski, 78, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, April 5,2025. Arthur was born on August 20, 1946, in Titusville, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur E. Zelinski and Marjorie Bishop Zelinski.

He joined the Navy in October of 1963 and served until 1973 serving aboard ships off Vietnam and in Rota Spain. He worked at Lester Gaskins and drove truck for Ernest Reason, and then he opened ABZ Transmission in 1986.

Left to cherish his memory and continue in his legacy are his beloved wife of 58 years Donna Gustafson Zelinski, daughter Randi Ireland and her husband Floyd, son A Brian Zelinski “Donny” and his wife Kemmerlynn “Zemi”, grandchildren James Civils and his fiancé Destinee, Timothy Civils and his wife Holly, Taylor Leslie, bonus grandchildren Jon, Shaina, Jasmine Civils, Kayla Tyndall, Moses and husband Jason, fourteen great grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Nathan Zelinski.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at VFW Post 2514, 3850 Butler Rd., New Bern, North Carolina 28560, 252-637-9222 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Military honors will be rendered during the celebration.
