On December 19th, Barry Richard Snyder, 66, passed away surrounded by his family and friends, after a yearlong battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
He had a love for the outdoors-hunting and fishing, woodworking, and there wasn’t anything he could not fix. But what he loved the most was the time spent with his grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his quick wit and for his ability to know a little about everything.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Lou, his three daughters Kellie (Allen), Ashleigh, Melissa (Mike), his mother, Dorothy Kennedy Snyder, his sister, Bonnie Lawson, his brother, Brian Snyder, and his six beloved grandchildren, Payton, Ava, Mason, Griffin, Cooper, and Beckham.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Garber United Methodist Church with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
