She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family and her home. Her life was full of happiness and smiles. She was a teacher assistant for 25 years with Craven County Schools and she was a member of Wintergreen OFW Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Wallace Lewis, Jr., and a sister, Marie Hardman.
Beatrice is survived by two daughters, Cindy Huffman (Mike) of New Bern, Gwen Bland of Cove City, five sisters, Hilda Aldridge, Marjie Harrell, Georgia Ormond, Carolyn Butler, and Marolyn Minton. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Huffman, Jennifer Dominey, Erica Schulze and Taylor Radcliff, and six great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jude, Jeremiah, Jonas and Ellianna Dominey, and Nicholas Huffman.
Her service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Wintergreen OFW Baptist Church Cemetery.
