Beatrice Clara Mahoney

Beatrice Clara Mahoney passed peacefully into the everlasting embrace of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer; surrounded by her loving family

Beatrice was born January 10, 1939, to Narcisse and Aurelia Marcoux. She graduated from St. Vincent's School of Nursing in 1960 and spent her entire life selflessly caring for others.

She married Richard Mahoney and was a faithful wife for 64 years. She was the proud mother of seven children and rejoiced in watching her family grow

She is predeceased by her son Keith Patrick who passed in February.

Beatrice is survived by her children; Sean Mahoney (Kim), Michael Mahoney (Tagna), Adrienne Cunningham (Andy), Marcelle Myrick, Colin Mahoney, Suzanne Mahoney, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and her brother Robert Marcoux (Frances) and his family.

Her passing has and will be felt most significantly for years to come. Our solace comes from the knowledge that she was a devout Christian who dedicated her life unselfishly to others, always. Her beauty transcends the flesh she wore and exemplified itself through her exceedingly loving spirit. To know her was to love her.

She will be missed more than mere words can say. We forever love you “Beautiful”, and remember…though you were our mother, you will always be our girl.
