She was born in Hermitage Springs, Tenn. on September 17, 1924, the daughter of Byrd and Hattie Good. She worked hard all her life and never complained. She hoed the fields, worked in tobacco, cleaned houses and cooked for many people. She once made coleslaw for 3,000 people for a New Bern event. It took her 18 hours, but she got the job done. Bonnie loved people, regardless of their nationality or the color of their skin. More than anything, she loved the Lord and lived for Him. She was a faithful servant of Harvestime United Pentecostal Church. If you met her, she told you about the Lord and she would give you an invitation to church. Certain times of the year, she made pizzas and peanut brittle for the church and sold them around town.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, and grandchildren Frank and Wendy Eaton.
She is survived by her loving children, Clarence Eaton and wife Wanda of Sanford, Fla., Lillian Kirby and husband Jim of Christmas, Fla.; her grandchildren; and her former son in-law, Dwain Bailey of Chelyan, W.V.
