He worked for Liberty Carpet for many years.
He is preceded in death by father Maxton Gardner Bennett, and brother Zackary Wayne Bennett.
Bruce is survived by daughter Carisa A. Bennett, two granddaughters Ava & Hanna, mother Linda P. Bennett, sister Maxie & husband Kent Cooper of Corpus Christi TX, brother Erik Adrian Bennett of San Antonio TX.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday October 2, 2014 at 11 am at Cotten Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to BBT bank in memory of Bruce Bennett for a college fund for his granddaughters.
