Carlo John Parrillo

Mr. Parrillo is survived by his daughter, Lori-Ann Freeman (Somsak)of New Bern; sister, Georgann Barrett; granddaughters, Courtney Brasil (Joshua), Caitlin Sylvia, and Cami Sylvia, Shannon O'Dell and grandson, Steven Parrillo; great-granddaughter, Annabelle Martin; great-grandson, Alex Parrillo and great-granddaughters, Chloe and Julianna Parrillo; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Georgann Parrillo; sister, Beatrice Nicolace; brother, John Lang; sister, Noreen Cardullo; and sister, Lucille Nicolace.

He served in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War in the US Army. He was a jockey on racetracks from New Hampshire to Florida. He loved to play slots and still hoped to win that powerball. He was affectionately known as "Papa."
