She had many hobbies, crocheting, knitting, sewing, macramé, cooking, and gardening. She was involved in her local church, she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Watson, parents, Clarence and Ivey Nobles, step-mother, Mary Jones Nobles, brother, Earl Nobles and sister, Janie Winstead.
Her survivors include brothers, Elmo Nobles and Charles Nobles, sister, Margaret Leary, half-sister, Dorothy Ann Freeman, children; Linda Jones Little, William Odell Jones Jr., Leatha Jones Godwin, Pamela Sue Hemby and Frances Jones, step-children; Veronica W. Braxton, Johnny Watson, Margie W. Eubanks and Howard Watson, thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Miss Helen Williams for all the love and compassionate care she has given momma and our family over the years, we cannot thank her enough. She is greatly appreciated. The family would also like to express our appreciation to the nurses and staff at Riverpoint Crest, CarolinaEast, and especially the hospice unit within CarolinaEast for the dedicated and compassionate care they have shown us during this time.
She will be laid to rest with private services.
