A week after your passing, and mourning still veils every waking moment. Shock and dismay have overtaken a world that was much brighter with you in it. The thought that you’re no longer with us is inconceivable. The man that was always there. The man that freely gave every ounce of himself. The man that planted trees knowing he’d never sit in the shade. Such a great, God fearing loving man. The greatest.  A friend when weariness, doubt and troubles came about. My best friend. The shoulder that never budged when leaned upon. An ear that never bent away when beckoned. The wisdom, knowledge, consideration, work ethic, compassion, love, care, all the morals and values you instilled in me, honing me into the man that I am today is a price that can never be repaid. Undeterred commitment to the craft of fatherhood, an achievement towards excellence which you mastered with dogged determination. While the calls have ceased, and the videos have become a snowy shade of gray, the time and efforts you made will live on to honor your name forevermore. Thank you for showing me what a great, dedicated, gentle, faithful, kind and loving man looks like. Thank you for that and so much more. It’s my undying mission to see the same wherever my reflection is cast. Godspeed, and farewell for now Dad. I love you indefinitely.

My heart is heavy and saddened beyond measure, losing my sweet brother has been devastating to my husband and I; it is hard to find the words to express our sorrow. 
Growing up Chuck and I were very close, there are so memories I have of the two of us... together flying kites, playing kickball, badminton, building snowmen and igloos, running around in the rain splashing in water puddles... there are so many happy memories growing  up together. Especially playing tricks on each other while playing hide and seek, closing the door to a room just enough to set a cup of water on top so that whoever opened the door would get wet. 
After he had joined the Air Force Chuck he came home for a visit surprising  me with tickets to my first concert, the Osmond's. We also enjoyed times going on double dates. We talked on the phone almost every day and once he taught me how to use a computer we added email to our daily talks. 
As time passed through the years, there were some disagreements that came between us and for 10 years after our father died we hadn't spoke to or seen each other.  Missing the relationship we once had, I reached out to Chuck in September 2024 and we reconnected as if nothing had happened between us, I felt Gods hand in bringing us back together and I was determined not to let go. Our plan was to meet for lunch in Spring 2025, but life had different plans .... sadly Chuck had a bad fall leading to a chain of events that ultimately took him from us. During Chucks illness this year my husband and I were determined to visit and spend as much time as possible with Chuck... we had prayed  for healing and at times there was a glimmer of that hope peeking  through, even for just a moment. Chuck loved music and he would sing Queens song  Bohemian Rhapsody with  my husband... I am so blessed for this time with him, and being blessed to be there  on his last earthly day... a memory I will always cherish is when holding his hand he pulled it up to kiss twice.

In Loving Memory of My Brother, Chuck

My heart is heavy with sorrow as I try to find the words to express the profound loss of my dear brother, Chuck. He was taken from us far too soon, and though my grief is deep, I find comfort in knowing that God's timing is never wrong. It was through His grace and endless wisdom that I discovered I had a loving brother—a blessing that changed my life forever.

Chuck was a good, caring, and gentle soul. From the moment we found each other, he welcomed me as his long-lost sister with open arms, embracing me with love and kindness. We quickly realized we shared so many passions—our love for nature, our appreciation of music, and the joy of reminiscing about life’s moments. The stories we exchanged and the family memories we uncovered have become treasures I will hold close to my heart forever.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will live on in every beautiful memory we created together. I will keep him in my heart always. His bright, infectious smile is now captured in a picture frame sitting on my desk, where he will continue to greet me with warmth in the days to come.

Chuck, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. May you rest in peace, knowing that your kindness, laughter, and love have left an indelible mark on my life.

This is the Chuck I will remember.  Smiling as he goes for a ride with a reluctant Lydia.  My sincere condolences to my friend Lydia and all family members.

Chuck's smile and laugh were indeed infectious. It has been a pleasure to get to know him during the past three years. I especially treasure the memory of watching an eclipse with him on his front lawn.  Katherine Gill

I met chuck through my husband Al.  Chuck was are best man. Al introduced Chuck to his first wife.  While Al was at boot camp, he promised Al if anything to keep ear out on me. Chuck was first to know of my pregnancy of my first child, Fonsie.  Chuck had a very kind heart he go out of his way for those most of all he loved his children from the bottom of his heart. His children get hurt, sick it hurt him dearly 💔.  A  good God father to my son Fonsie he was.
A good man, most of all a wonderful Dad and caring person to all. 
I am truly sorry for the loss of a good man, loving husband,  a 
good Dad and grandfather.
Rest in peace, Chuck.

What a beautiful memorial to Chuck.  He walks among Angels now and in the presence of our Lord and Savior.  May God bring comfort and peace to you Lydia and all of the family. May all the good memories bring smiles and laughter each time you all get-together to remember Chuck. 🙏❤️

Lydia, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Chuck is back enjoying nature with no pain. He continues to live on in each of your hearts. Deepest condolences to you all.

I can't make sense of the fact that you're gone. My mind has been flooded with lessons, experiences, how you positively influenced my life. My heart is flooded with a deep sorrow that will remain. I'll never forget your quirky Dad jokes, your stories of the past, or how you always made me feel safe and cared for - even from afar. I just pray that I made you proud as a father. 
I miss you abundantly already. Until we meet again, Daddio.
