She moved to New Bern at the age of eight and attended school in New Bern. Cheryle was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She had a happy-go-lucky outlook on life and was a friend to everyone.
She is preceded in death by her father Sherrill Gray Ingram.
She is survived by her fiancé Richard Smith of Holly Springs, NC; her mother Brenda Ingram Horne of New Bern, NC; her brother Steve Gray (Reiko) Ingram of Houston, TX; her sister Julie Ingram of New Bern, NC; her nephews Noah Ingram and Derek Flake; her niece Paige Harper; and her great-nephews Austin Flake and Gabriel Flake.
Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Cotton Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Holly Hills Cemetery in Thomasville, NC, Monday, February 23, 2015 at 3:00pm.
