Christian "Chris" Herbert Snell 62, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on December 10, 2025. Chris lived a life of dedication, service, and love for his family. He proudly served in the United States Navy, retiring in 2006 after many years of honorable service. He is predeceased by his father, Richard Snell.
Chris was a devoted husband to his wife, Kimberly Snell, and a loving father to his daughters, Emily Fagan (Trey) and Haley Snell. He cherished his role as a grandfather to James Fagan. He is also survived by his mother, Wanda Snell, and his brother, Michael Snell (Denise Philipbar). His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, who will deeply miss his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering strength.
A memorial service to celebrate Chris's life will be held at 1:00pm Monday, December 29, 2025 at Lakeside Chapel, Greenleaf Memorial Park. Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to serve the Snell family during this difficult time.
