Clifton Perry Jones

Mr. Clifton was born October 3,1932 in Craven County to the late William Berry Jones and Callie Jones. On December 9, 1978 he married Faye Shelton Jones who preceded him in death. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was a farmer, a volunteer firefighter and was a member of Wintergreen Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include, his daughter, Leona Jones Willeford, son, Buddy Jones, brother; Robert Jones, step children, Cecilia Wayne, Shirley Bell, Darlene Mayo, Cecil McDaniel Brinson, grandchildren, Heather Durham and husband Corey, Melissa Taylor and husband Gene, Robert Elks, Joyce Jones Barnett and husband David, Isaac Jonathan Jones, Jessica Harris, thirteen great grandchildren, step grandchildren, Shawn Wayne and wife Dana, Curt Jenkins, Matt Jenkins, Amy Bell Lockwood and husband Earl, Jeremy Bell, Jennifer Brinson, Kevin Brinson, twenty step great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Lucille Jones Hinson, Bessie Jones Roach, sister- in- law, Mattie Jones, daughter in law, Melanie Jones and step- son, Rodney Earl Cox.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Wintergreen Free Will Baptist Church and will be conducted by Pastor Calvin Heath.
