Coy devoted 30 years to his business career, being the owner/operator of Trent Auto Parts and Thurman Auto Center of New Bern.
Coy found great joy hanging out with his friends at the auto parts store. He loved talking race cars and helping customers with their drag racing needs. Before retirement, Coy could be found on the golf course. He was a member of Taberna, Carolina Pines, and Carolina Colours. Most of all, Coy loved watching his grandchildren grow up.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terrye Fulcher; daughter, Kandy Bayliss; and grandchildren, Kailyn, Kyle, Kamryn, and Graceyn Bayliss. He is also survived by one sister, Ahna Still of Jefferson, Georgia.
