Dave Wayne Myers Sr.

Dave was a 1963 graduate of Wheeling High School, a Navy Veteran and retired Journeyman Electrician with the IBEW local 141 in Wheeling, WV, here he served as secretary for several years. He coached baseball in the Fulton League, and then in the Palomino League. He was a member of the American Legion Post 24 and attended Temple Church in New Bern, NC. His passions were fishing and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John I. Myers and Blanche Mae Nicholson Myers and brother, John C. Myers.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sandra Craig Myers and his three sons; David W. Jr. and his wife, Debra, John R., and Eric M. and his wife, Katie, sister, Bina M. Geary and husband, Rich, and a brother, Steve and his wife, Carol, five grandchildren, of whom were the apple of his eye, Nicholas and Jacob Myers, Anton Myers, Bethany Bell and her husband, Zac, and Julie Robert and her husband, Jacob, three great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Amelia, Laden, and one expected in December. Also his precious granddog, Minkah.

Several nieces and nephews especially, Debbie Annette and husband, Jack, Diana Saas and husband, Bob, for whom he was so grateful and thankful for their friendship, love and prayers.

Dave was laid to rest at Salisbury National Cemetery, North Carolina.
