

Debbie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Debbie retired from Bridgeton Elementary School after teaching 2nd grade for many years. When Debbie was not teaching, you could find her working in her yard, going to Shackleford Banks, and shopping. She was a member of St. Mary's FWB Church. All who knew Debbie loved her, and she will be greatly missed.
Leaving behind to honor her legacy and memories, are her husband of 45 years, Danny Miller; daughters, April Miller Quidley (Randal) and Stefanie Miller Champion (David); grandchildren, Luke, Levi, Jack, Chase, Cannon and Conner; sister, Valeria Huggins Barrow (Wayne); mother-in-law, Mary "Mama" Whitford; sister-in-law, Denise Simpson; lifelong friend, Barbara Bulla and many loving nieces, nephews, close friends, and Chloe, and Memphis.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Make Miller; step father Preston Dunn; step father-in-law, Roy Whitford and many of her furry friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Debbie's honor to the Colonial Capital Humane Society.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Cotten Funeral Home. A celebration of Debbie's life will begin at 4:00 pm with Craig Simmons officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
