He attended Cornerstone Assembly Church. He was also a member of VFW Post 2514.
He is survived by his wife Susan; two daughters Colleen Slick of Redland, CA and Kelley Wildt of New Bern; one sister Rosemary Stetz of Allen Park, MI; and four grandchildren.
Family and friends will have a private gathering at a later time.
