Diana Lucille Childers

Diana Lucille Childers passed away on December 28th, 2024 at age 79. Diana was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Diana generously gave her time, spirit, and resources to her family and church, and various charities and organizations, especially those that helped animals. She worked at all of her jobs with skill and integrity, in particular her long career as an executive secretary. Diana loved playing cards, decorating for all of the holidays, wrapping presents, reading, and watching PBS Mystery with her husband. Diana loved flowers, not just growing them but also receiving them and giving them. Her flower gardens were a joy to see and were visited by birds and butterflies. She had a fantastic sense of humor, which she passed on to her children. She loved her family and pets deeply and prayed for them to have happiness and peace. After years of struggling with health issues, she is now at peace. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 59 years, Critton Joe Childers; her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and David Snook; her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Julie Childers; her grandchildren Taylor, Abigail, Madison, Mackenzie, Allison, Nathan, Jack, and Katie: and her great-granddaughter Thea and soon-to-be-born great-grandson Jackson.
