Donald Maisack passed away on May 20, 2016 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport. He was 87. He grew up in Hagerstown, Md. and was drafted into the U.S. Army, spending two years in the military police during the Korean War.
He attended public schools in Hagerstown, Md. and City College in New York City. His entire working life was spent at Nabisco, much of that time traveling to various shipping branches and later as manager of Fair Lawn shipping branch.
He is survived by Sylvia and two sons, Gregory and wife Debbie of Piscataway, NJ and Donald, Jr. of Albany, NY, as well as granddaughter Susan of Cranford, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Garber United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Banks officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
