Donna Marie Addario

After graduating from the Academy of the Holy Cross in Maryland, Donna spent 13 years as a flight attendant with United Airlines, where she made lifelong friends. She later worked in the wine industry, real estate, and various sales positions. In 1994, she married Dan, and the couple relocated from San Francisco to Sonoma County, where they spent many happy years. They eventually retired to New Bern, NC.

Donna is survived by her sisters, Lora and Sharon, her brother, Paul, and her stepson, Mark. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dan, who passed away just six weeks ago.

Donna was known for her fun-loving personality and for always keeping people on their toes, including herself. Her spontaneous humor and her kind heart will be deeply missed. Even Amazon will feel the loss, as Donna was a loyal supporter of their business. Donna’s light and smile will be remembered by all who loved her.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Those wishing to honor her memory may make a donation to Samaritan’s Purse, Tunnel to Towers, or a local women’s shelter.
