Elizabeth Wrenn Kopliner

She is survived by her children James H. Wrenn III, Karen Wrenn Clevenger, and Laurie Wrenn Shoulars; grandchildren Amanda Diaz, Jennifer Taveras, Laura Bain, Brittany Clevenger, Wrenn Brotzman, Rebecca Shoulars, and Hadley Wrenn; 7 great grandchildren, and 8 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband, James H. Wrenn, Jr, and his siblings Robert I Wrenn, Jack L. Wrenn and wife Leona, Claudia Smith and husband Rudy, and William J. Wrenn; her second husband, James Kopliner; and her sister Dorothy Jones Swain.

She retired from Craven Regional Medical Center in 2001 as Director of Radiology and Imaging Services. She was active in her church and women’s club; and enjoyed bible studies, playing bridge, fashionable clothes, fly fishing, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and many friends.

Funeral service will be held December 17, 2017 at 3pm at Greenleaf Memorial Park, Lakeside Chapel, in New Bern. The family will receive friends following the service at the Garber United Methodist Church Ministry Center Room 123 in New Bern.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial Contributions in her honor to the Garber United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society and Craven County Hospice.
