She worked at Jan’s Hallmark for many years.
She is survived by her brothers Merle Flowers of Nevada, Linwood Flowers of Bayview and Douglas Flowers of Arapahoe; sister Annette West of New Bern; grandchildren C.C. Yancey III of Jacksonville and Robyn Denni of Indiana; and one great-grandchildren Kya Jones of New Bern.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Citizens Bank for a trust fund being established for her grandchildren's education.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at New Bern Memorial.
