Gale Florence Maurer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gale Florence Maurer, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on March 2, 2025, at the age of 62. Gale was born on July 15, 1962, in New Jersey, and grew up with a fierce determination that defined her throughout her life.

A loving mother to three children—Jesse, Angel, and Joy—Gale worked tirelessly to raise her family on her own. She was the proud owner of American Maid Co., a cleaning business she founded and grew with dedication and hard work. Beyond her career, Gale found peace in her garden, where her green thumb transformed every space she touched into something beautiful.

Gale’s personality was a unique blend of sweetness and strength. She was the kind of woman who would welcome you with open arms, a warm smile, and a carefree spirit. But beneath that softness, she was tough and unyielding when it came to protecting her loved ones. She was truly “leather and lace”—a woman of both tenderness and resilience.

Gale shared a lifelong friendship with Lora, her best friend since childhood. Their bond was built over a lifetime of shared memories and laughter, and Lora was a loving aunt to Gale’s children.

Gale is survived by her siblings, Butch, Ann, and Gary, her cherished children, Jesse, Angel, and Joy, and her beloved grandchildren, Hallie, Arian, Oliver, and Jesse. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, each of whom she held dear. Her love for her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
