Howard David Porter

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Porter and their children; Catherine Jardim (jack), Patricia Hall, David Porter (Sarah), Elizabeth Housler (Billy), Nancy Armstrong (Tim) and Christina Spuches (Christopher); 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one more on the way; sister JoAnn Gustafson (Lewis).

He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Ida Porter and his brother Newton Dale Porter.

He worked for Westinghouse, and later North American Phillips designing computer programs for high speed manufacturing. Howard was a Christian man who devoted his time to Broad Creek Christian Church. His passion in life was playing tennis. He was an avid player for over 25 years and won numerous silver and gold metals from the Senior Games.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Broad Creek Christian Church by Reverend Scott Askew.
