Irene Rudisha Delain Brown, age 87, of Charlotte, North Carolina transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday, May 9, 2025, in New Bern, North Carolina. She was born in Charlotte to the late Ernest Delain and Mamie Jo Hannah Delain. Irene resided at 334 Mattocks Road, Maysville, North Carolina 28555.
Leaving behind to honor and cherish Irene's memories are her loving family members and close friends, who will greatly miss her.
The family will hold a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, located at 517 Baldwin Ave, Charlotte, NC 28204. Irene's Home Going service will begin at 12:00 pm.
