He was a master mason and a member of St. Johns Lodge No. 3, Scottish Rite, Sudan Shriners and the Sudan Patrol and he was a member of Ruth’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Beatrice White, two brothers, Alan and Cecil White, and two sisters, Rosemary Taylor and Ferebee Oswald.
He is survived by his wife, Roxie Elizabeth White, one brother, Charlie White of Cove City; two sisters, Linda Henson and husband Richard of Cove City; Gladys Terry of Shasta Lake, CA; many nieces and nephews and his dog Blondie.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Trenton Cemetery.
