Jerry Preston Barnes, 58, of New Bern died July 8, 2018.
He is predeceased by his father, George Preston Barnes and his brother, George Tracy Barnes.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, July 12, 2018 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of his daughter, Sheryl Harris, 641 NC Hwy 306 S., Grantsboro.
Survivied by his mother, Joyce Mercer Barnes; daughters, Nichole Seabrooke, Sheryl Harris, Candace Currle and Kayliegh Miranda; sisters, Sharon Barnes, Terry Berkley, Kelly Dietz; 7 granddaughters and five grandsons; cousin and best friend Jimmy Barnes.
