Jodie Ruth Shearer

Leaving behind to honor and cherish Jodie's memories are her son, Michael Shearer, Sr.; daughters, Janis Hudgins (Alton), Judy Lamar, and Sharon Ingram (Claude); grandchildren, Casey Anderson (Steven), Kimberly Stone (James), Kristina Hudgins, Rhonda Shedd (Richard), Michael Shearer Jr. (Ashleigh), Walter Shearer, Jodie Shearer, Nicole Shearer, and Robert Shearer Jr. (Jean); 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Skinner (Brooks); and many loving family members and close friends.

Jodie is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Shearer; son, Robert Shearer, Sr; daughter, Lisa Williams; grandson, Alton Hudgins, Jr; brother, Hubert Gray; and sister, Mary Hicks; and son-in-law, Bobby Lamar.

Jodie will be laid to rest with her husband, Alfred, at Belview Memorial in Augusta, Georgia at a later date.

Jodie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her laughter and love will greatly be missed, and you will always be in our hearts.
