He served our country in the U. S. Airforce and he worked at Wilheit Packaging in Gainesville, GA. He also worked at the YMCA in New Bern. Jack was a kind, loving man who cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Butler and a brother, David Butler.
He is survived by his mother, Vivian Butler Robichaud of Connecticut; two daughters, Marie Phillips and husband Rick of Trent Woods; Joanne Jackson and husband Joe; one grandson, Alex Jackson; all of Charlotte; one brother, James Butler of Cottageville, SC; his best friend, Elaine Hausburg of New Bern; and his dog, Paddy.
