He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and served in Desert Shield.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Henneke; mother Joyce Henneke of MI; son Matthew (Veronica) Henneke of LaGrand, Oregon; daughter Kristina Doyle of Jacksonville; brothers James Henneke and Jeffery Henneke of MI; sisters Joanne Sparkman and Julie Kachelski of MI; and grandchildren Noah, Bella and Leela.
Memorial service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, November 25, 2017 at First Pentecostal Church, 140 Piney Green Road, Jacksonville, NC 28546. Luncheon will follow the service.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Alzeihmers Association or to Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 348 Foy Lockamy Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
