He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. Jack’s interests included, gardening, cars, and horse racing and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carole, his mother, Guelda Houser of Pittsburg, PA; two sons, Doug Houser of Pittsburgh, PA; Chris Houser of Aldie, VA; one daughter, Molly Grunberg of Istanbul, Turkey, two sisters, Dona King of Pittsburgh, PA; Cheryl Barbour of Atlanta, GA; and six grandchildren.
