Joseph F. Hack, 97, passed away on May 5 in his New Bern home. This former Naval Architect is survived by his two nieces, Jane Chaplin and Nancy Brinkley, as well as two great nieces and nephews: Genevieve and Kent Bergeson, Candice and Cody Brinkley. An Open House in his honor will be held on Monday May 21 from 1-3pm at 5418 Trade Winds Rd., New Bern, NC 28560. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Restoration of First Church of Christ, Scientist (1822-6 S Glenburnie Rd, Ste #102) New Bern, NC 28562 is appreciated.
