

Judith (Judy) Marie Crisman Muehl, 76, of River Bend, North Carolina formerly of Williamsport and Erie, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday March 5th, 2023. Judy was born on November 19, 1946, in Williamsport, PA to Donald Crisman and Florence Rudinski Crisman. She was a member of the Class of 1964 South Williamsport Senior High School.
Judy was the office manager for the Fairview Borough for many years dedicated to improving the local community. Prior to retirement she served as a Groundwater Protection Technician for Pennsylvania Rural Water Association where she developed a passion for environmental issues, helping small communities and educating the community and schools on clean water. Along with publishing many articles in trade publications, she spoke at numerous seminars and schools on the importance of protecting our water resources and spearheaded the Chesapeake Basin Sign Project in Pennsylvania which can still be seen on our highways today.
She was an avid crafter and loved to repurpose old, discarded items transforming them into beautiful displays of art. She loved spending time with her sweet little dog Ella.
She is survived by two sons Jeffrey (Theresa) Muehl of Kokomo, IN and James (Monica) Muehl of Cooper City, FL, former husband Larry Muehl and four grandchildren Julia, Marisa, Jonathan and Timothy. She was also survived by three sisters, Jeri Fessler and Jacqueline (Blair) English of South Williamsport and Jean Wool of Riverbend, NC and two brothers, David (Carleen) Crisman of South Williamsport and Daniel (Diane) Crisman of Loyalsock, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Crisman and sister Leah Crisman.
