Judy Carol Gaskins

Judy Carol Gaskins, 64, of Cove City, passed away peacefully. Judy was a loving and kind soul who cherished her Lord, her family, and her friends. She had a gift for making friends wherever she went and always welcomed others with open arms and a warm heart.

Judy was a devoted member of Cove City Missionary Baptist Church, where she found strength and support. She had a deep love for sports, particularly her beloved UNC Tar Heels basketball team, and her passion for animals was undeniable. Her kindness and caring nature extended to all she met, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Rose Gaskins, and her brother, Archie Gaskins Jr. Judy is survived by her loving sister, Debby Gaskins Grant (John/Timmy); niece, Ashley Grant; aunt, Glenda Willis; uncle, Charles Casper, several cousins, along with many extended family members and friends who will continue to hold her memory dear.

A graveside service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Cove City Cemetery. The family kindly asks that those attending dress casually to honor Judy’s spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter or a charity of choice in Judy’s memory.
