It is so sad to say goodbye to my brother Kevin.  The past few years may have been difficult in our family relationship, but I will remember him for all the good things and times that we shared.  Kevin always went out of his way to make things special for others.  He had a huge heart. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make a situation funny and light.
He cared about family and friends very much.  We had a lot of good childhood memories and fun times getting older through the years.  He had so many good friends from Mountain Lakes that he stayed close with throughout his life.  In the past year, those friends supported him well and he was very grateful for that.
He loved boating and fishing and was so good at both.  He taught our son Logan how to drive a boat expertly and how to fish very well.  My husband Brent, Logan, and Kevin had many good fishing adventures together.  I know that Kevin and Brad shared many good times together on the water and that made Kevin very happy.  All that had the experience of fishing with Kevin could say that getting up early to get out on the water, to see the sunrise and the beauty of the ocean early in the morning, was a spiritual and special bonding event.  
Kevin loved to cook, bake and host holiday and birthday parties for family and friends. He and Abby hosted so many Thanksgiving holidays for extended family and friends and they were appreciated and loved by all of us.  It was an all-day affair prepping, cooking, drinking and having fun.  We would all end up at the beautiful fireplace on their outdoor patio at night and laugh and reminisce every year. I treasure those memories.
I am so grateful to have had you in my life.  I was always so proud to have you as my brother.  I looked up to you so much growing up because you were fun, honest and kind to me.  I am so sad that you are gone.  You will be greatly missed and will always leave a huge void in our family.
RIP now Kevin and know you will be loved forever.

Grandpa, you gave me the best childhood any one could ever ask for. Between our pizza adventures, seeing the Empire State Building, checking out the coolest places and making me laugh uncontrollably, you were by far the memorable grandfather I’ve ever had. You were always there for me and took on the role of also being my godfather which meant everything to me. I am so devastated to hear that you’re gone but instead of being sad I will remember you in the best way and with the best memories. I love you so much Grandpa Kevin. Thank you for everything. Rest easy🪽💔

To Kathleen, Abby, Beth, Greg & MK, our deepest condolences, Kevin's passing has impacted all of us.

At the same time, allows us to think about how much joy and craziness Kevin brought to pretty much everyone.   As I mentioned before, when Kevin was on, no one was better a pulling everyone together for just about anything.   Of course mostly fishing, camping, eating, etc., etc.

Realized this week that the Dwyer's moved into ML the same year as the Tensen's, 1963, going into 2nd grade.   (61 years ago. omg).   Seemed like we were always doing things together.

Already shared with the Dwyer's some key memories growing up with Kevin & the family.   Boating, trips to Hun, forced cake baking, the list goes on.

Kevin was also my best man for my first wedding, with Deano & Wally as ushers, along with brothers Nick & Chris.   Had selected grey tuxes with long tails.   The 3 of them, Kevin, Deano & Wally looked like civil war generals, too funny.   Have to find that photo for his life celebration.   

Another great photo was of Kevin, Dick Heller and myself in our CYO basketball uniforms.    Height wise, Dick was by far the biggest, Kevin in the middle and then little me.   Fast forward a few years, and well, you know how that turned out height wise.

We all have wonderful memories from our life with Kevin.   Miss you.

Dear Friends of Kevin, My heartfelt sympathy to you all. I know how much he meant to you all. I spent a few times with Kevin through knowing Judy  (my sister and Brad). They loved Kevin greatly.  He will be missed. May he rest in peace with our Lord Jesus  Christ.  Cindy  Braden
