Lawrence Charles Curtis

Lawrence was born in Watertown, New York on July 9, 1938; the son of Laurence and Clover Curtis, and the brother of Michael Curtis who resides in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Larry graduated from Redwood High School and Syracuse University. He and Lillian Lambert were married on May 27, 1961 in Alexandria Bay, New York at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church. They had two children, Mary and Michael, and two grandchildren Grace Beauchamp Alabaster and Benjamin Lawrence Curtis.

Larry spent six years with the Connecticut Air National Guard while working for United Aircraft in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. He retired from his final position as President, after thirty years in service for Partlow Corporation and its people.

Larry and Lillian lived in New Hartford, New York from 1968 until his retirement 1999, when they built a home in New Bern and relocated to North Carolina.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Lillian Curtis, daughter Mary Beauchamp, son Michael and his wife Martha, brother Michael Curtis and two grandchildren Grace (Justin) and Ben.

A graveside service will be held at Redwood Cemetery in New York this summer.
