Leslie Edward Swain, Sr., 74, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday morning, April 10, 2016. He is the son of the late James A. Swain, Sr. and Doris Swain who survives him. He worked at PCS Phosphate for 38 years.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Cedar Grove Cemetery extension in New Bern with Pastor Earl Sadler officiating.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gail Council Swain; two sons, Eddie Swain and wife Donna, and Michael Swain, Sr. and wife Mary; two stepchildren, Danny Moore and Kelly Beals; one brother, James A. Swain, Jr.; three grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Jessee and Raquel Swain.
The family will recieve friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Dublin Grove O.F.W.B. Church. Following the visitation, there will be a memorial service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Dublin Grove O.F.W.B. Church, 614 Bay City Rd., Aurora, NC 27806.
