She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Maysville.
She is survived by her sons, John, Jimmy, Herman, Larry and Roger Southard, her daughters, Ruby Wilburn, Rebecca Squires, Linda Southard, Nina Brown, Betty Talman, Kitty Canter, Sara Hunt, 31 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 41 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Cotten Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
