In my heart I know Mrs. Margie is rejoicing with her family in Heaven. I have known them for 37+ years. Margie was always the most sweet and kindest lady I have ever know. Most of all one of the strongest. She had the cutest laugh and love to pick on me. I will always remember her smile and how she always saw the best in everyone. Rita was one of my best friends and I also miss her. This family showed me that no matter what we go though as long as you stick together as a family and trust in God, you can handle anything. I love you Margie. I will miss your kind and tender heart.

I wanted to be there today, Great-Granny, things are so crazy right now, I don't even know what say, but I do remember lots of little things. I remember you taking us to get pizza, I remember us coming over to visit and listening to you talk about your soaps...I remember Grandpa taking me, Shayla, Philip, Mom, you, and Aunt Rita to KFC, I never knew they had buffets before...It was so good, and it was so fun doing that together. I am sorry we lived so far away, and didn't get to see you more. I will always love and miss you, and I know you are happy and healthy now. We love you forever!

Great-Granny, I am so sorry I haven't seen you in so long, living 13 hours away kept me from going home when I wanted. But I remembered all the good times we had, you loved it when we were there, and we loved you. You were just to be around, and I remember the last place you took us to, CiCi's Pizza, with you, me, Mom, Philip, and Alyssa. It was just the greatest time. I am so sorry I can't be there today, even though I know Mom is giving you my love, it's not the same. I hope you are happy in Heaven with Great-Grandpa, your children, and the rest of your family, but I hope you can see  us, and know how much we miss you and love you. We will see you again one day.

I was married to Margie's son, Mike, for 19 years. Throughout our marriage, through the divorce, and until she passed, she treated  me more like a daughter than a daughter-in-law. She was a loving grandmother to the kids, and throughout the years we talked a lot. I would go and sit with her sometimes to keep her company, I would even bring her Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, when family couldn't make it from out-of-state, and she wasn't up to going anywhere. We loved each other, and that woman went through more than most people ever do, and kept surviving.  She will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will always miss her.

I remember so many things.  I remember my grandmother's heart. She took care of my Grandaddy for years after he became bedridden, and never even thought of remarrying after he passed.. .I remember how well she cooked, she used to make one of my favorite dishes, Big Burger, which was like a big cheeseburger pie.  She made the most amazing bread pudding.  We learned to ride our first Hot Wheels at her home..I remember when she was able to come with my dad to see us in Florida when the kids were small, because it wasn't easy for her to travel that far....There are too many memories of our time with her to list, but I wanted some many more...I love you, Granny!
