A native of Craven County, she was born November 6, 1934 to the late Robert E. and Josie Gaskins Sutton.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Julius Wetherington, Jr., brothers Robert L. Sutton and Donald Charles Sutton.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Marie Wetherington of the home, and her sister Barbara S. Willis, and sister-in-law Joy Sutton.
A memorial service will be 1 PM, Monday, November 5, 2018 at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
