Martha Cacioppo-Roginski

Martha Claire Cacioppo-Roginski, 62, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on April 11, 2023.

Martha was born on July 4, 1960, in Akron, Ohio to the late Joseph Pat Cacioppo and Nancy Cummings Cacioppo.

Martha grew up in Silver Lake, Ohio, where she thrived amid a close-knit community of family and friends. Her love of animals developed at an early age. An avid equestrian, she rode dressage and won trophies for her skill in the horse jumping arena. After moving to Grosse Ile, Michigan, Martha joined the firm of PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an administrator where she served for 11 years. Certified in bookkeeping and medical billing, she held positions in numerous companies throughout her career. She and her husband Rich moved to New Bern, North Carolina in 2018 to be near family, and was happiest when surrounded by family, friends, and a dog or cat (or two).

Martha was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Paul Roginski, and is survived by her brother Curt Cacioppo and his wife Chris; sister Anne Cacioppo Manganaro and her husband Paul; her three nephews, Charles Cacioppo, Nicholas Cacioppo, and Paul Joseph Manganaro; and numerous cousins, in-laws, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Martha’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina.

A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at a future date.
