Mary Lucille Bartel

North Carolina. She grew up in Edenton, NC and moved to Washington D.C. after graduating from high school. She met and married her husband of over 60 years, Donald Bartel there. They lived there until 1994 when they moved to New Bern, NC.

Lucille, as she was called, worked as an office manager/bookkeeper until she retired. She and her husband were very active in the Masonic organization. She loved to have her family around her, especially her grandchildren. She was member of Riverdale United Methodist Church in New Bern.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Drumm and husband Bob of Little River, SC and her beloved grandchildren, Kasey Casteel and wife Seanna of Charlotte, NC, Corey Drumm of Ayden, NC and Kathleen Colaluca and husband Chris of Springfield, VA. As well as 3 great grandchildren, Jack Casteel, Nicholas Colaluca and Sienna Colaluca. She is also survived by her sister, Francis Byrum of Edenton, NC.
