He was a US Navy Veteran. He worked many years as an inspector for the railroad and was a ramp agent for Delta Airlines. He was a Vietnam Veteran on the aircraft carrier, USS TICONDEROGA. He loved to read, travel, watch baseball and football and listen to talk radio. Being a faithful New Yorker; his favorite teams were the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.
He was survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Cheryl Lawson O'Dwyer, 7 children; Ross, the late Carolann, Bernadette, Michael, Brandon, Mary, and Patrick; grandchildren; Emily, Shelby Megan, Christopher, Alyssa, Maddison, Zachary, Bella, Noah, and Ava.
He is predeceased by his father, Richard O’Dwyer and his mother, Ann O’Dwyer.
