Capt. Patrick A. Pearce

He served his country for 22 years in the U.S. Marine Corps with two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Havelock, the VFW of Havelock Post No. 7315 and he was an avid UNC Tarheels fan. He is preceded in death by his daughter in-law, Deborah Pearce.

Mr. Pearce is survived by his wife Janice A. “Jan” Pearce, two sons, Patrick R. “Randy” Pearce of Wilson, Richard A. “Rick” Pearce of Raleigh; one daughter, Renee Zukerman and husband David of Wilmington; one brother, Steve Rich and wife Beverly of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Dawn P. Etheridge, Tommy W. Pearce, Lily Zukerman and Abel Zukerman, his great-grandchildren, Madison A. Etheridge, Tyler Pearce and Kaleb Pearce and a special nephew, Charles Corridori of Arizona.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9:00 am Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Havelock. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, NC.
