Paul Herbert Hinckley

Paul Herbert Hinckley, age 91, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Paul was an electrical engineer and was nicknamed by his coworkers, the "Thomas Edison" of the company. His favorite hobby was working in theatre, whether backstage or onstage.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jane Hinckley of the home; two sons, their wives, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church. Date and time will be announced in the coming days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
