Priscilla Ann Dodson

NEW BERN | Priscilla A. Dodson went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2016. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard “Dick” Dodson; sons, Brian, Wayne and Scott; grandchildren, Lee, Cheyene, Grace, McKennon, Kody, Catherine, Christopher, Amanda and Richard; daughters-in-law, Amy and Renee; sister, Charlene; and brother, Fred.

A retired registered nurse and real estate sales person, she devoted her entire life to caring for her family and the poor, needy and underprivileged in our community. She spent many hours behind the scenes helping with Knights of Columbus events and projects, serving weekly with Meals on Wheels, RCS, and with whomever needed her help. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Thomas Tully celebrating. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 pm Thursday evening at Cotten Funeral Home, with Rosary at 7:45 pm.
