Rachel leaves behind her sons, David Smith Jr. and Mark Smith; brothers, Charles Brinson, Benny Baker, and Jeff Baker; sisters, Lois Brinson and Mary Scharr; and many loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Smith Sr. and brother, Kenny Baker.
The family will receive visitors from 10:30-11:30 am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Cotten Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 am with Angel Lorton officiating the service. Following the services, Rachel will be laid to rest with her husband, David Smith Sr., at New Bern National Cemetery.
