Robert Gregory Amend

He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Parsippany NJ before retiring to New Bern in 1995. He was a communicant of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his beloved wife and partner of 45 years Catherine (Kay); daughter AnnaMarie and Scott Hendershott of Wayne NJ; and son Michael and Tracey Tango Amend of Chatham NJ; as well as four beautiful granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Anna Hoffmann Amend, and his brothers and sisters, Edward, George, Paul, Eleanor and Elizabeth Amend and Miriam Meehan and Joan Burt.

A rosary service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Cotten funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Cotten funeral home. A memorial service will be held by Father Victor Gournas at Cotten Funeral Home at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.

A funeral mass and inurnment will be held at a later date in Middletown , NJ .
